Yard Arm/Outside Pool area tables/Reservation Policy
· The Yard Arm will be available for reservations on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. The Yardarm will be cleaned after every reservation. It can also be open at special request for a group by reserving it through the Office. All reservation requests must be sent to Dawn via email or phone.
· Following CDC recommendations, we are limiting the group size for the use of the Yardarm to 20 people, including any professional staff brought in, e.g. caterers*
· For groups larger than 20, the pool eating area may be reserved to assist in social distancing. This pool eating area would be a separate reservation.
· Social distancing and/or masks must be observed at all times. You are at your own risk.
· The grills and pool/pool deck do not require a reservation and are always open to all Owners and their guests.
· There are 70 owners at Indies West and one Yard Arm/Pool Area. It is an amenity that many people would like to use. Please be considerate of your fellow Owners when reserving the Yard Arm/Pool Area and don’t monopolize this amenity.
· The Board has approved the installation of an air sanitizing system,which will clean and sanitize the air and surfaces in all areas of the Yardarm. The system utilizes a UVA system to reduce viruses including “Covid-19, bacteria and mold. “More information is available at: https://www.odoroxhg.com/odorox-vs-coronavirus?hsCtaTracking=c44bf13e-ff84-413a-b8e3-ba11c375a99a%7C17b1c4bf-8e9c-44ae-a958-0dc3739ed0c7 If all goes to according to plan, the system is anticipated to be in operation in October and will run 24/7. In the meantime, aggressive cleaning procedures will remain in place.
· The Board is assessing the use of the Yard Arm/Pool area during the time of living with Covid at Indies West on a monthly basis. If necessary, protocols and policies will change to accommodate the changing situation.
TREE-TRIMMING
Our semi-annual Fall tree trimming will begin next week on Monday, weather pending.
